We highly recommend visiting Sir John Soane’s Museum and the Royal College of Surgeon’s Hunterian Museum during the week (not open on Sundays).

4-5.30pm, ‘Secret Bloomsbury: Spies, Sorcerers and Scientists’, with Mark Pilkington, writer and curator, and Ross MacFarlane, Research Officer at the Wellcome Library.

Meeting point: outside Holborn underground station.
Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone. This historical walking tour is your chance to uncover the Bloomsbury that nobody knows, where you’ll encounter spiritualists, spies, sorcerers and scientists in the heart of literary London. From nuclear bunkers to tales of teleportation, join your guides as they expose the secrets of this extraordinary area.
